I loved it & would recommend it to friends that I know love getting into the culture as a priority, the accommodations are rustic but adequate!”

On one hand we saw a kot of beautiful places: amazing salt Lake (wow!), cactus Island, mountains flamingos lakes, volcanos, rock formatoons, took bath in the hot springs. Saw will animals lime vicunias, desert foxes or vischachas. On the other hand this trip was EXTREMALLY challanging. Very low temperatures (down to -10C in the night), EXTREMALLY basis accomodation with no heating, hot water, electricity anky 3,5 hours during the evening. The road itself also EXTREMALLY challanging, bumpy, dusty desert roands. All this would be OK if this severe trip conditions were netioned/described in the trip description. Most participate were not prepared for such…”

The experience was just next level, the guide couldn’t have done more for us. However The overnight bus was the only bad bit: food gave us food poisoning on the bus, the seats recline but not enough, very bumpy journey, don’t do it this way if you function off a good night sleep! If you are not in a rush and have more time I’d recommend doing more days in Uyuni just for comfort.”
